Xu Linghao, MD, is a dedicated physician-scientist specializing in metabolic disorders, currently pursuing his PhD at Southwest Medical University under the joint supervision of Prof. Yu Li. Hailing from Meishan, Sichuan, Xu completed his medical training with distinction, earning a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Tongji University, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical research and patient-centered care.
His research focuses on the pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies for metabolism-related diseases, particularly metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Xu has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and collaborative projects aimed at elucidating novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
Xu has a thoughtful and diligent approach to research. With a calm and analytical mindset, he tackles scientific problems systematically while remaining open to new ideas. Though reserved by nature, he engages meaningfully in scientific discussions and values teamwork in tackling complex metabolic question.
Beyond the laboratory, Xu advances his career, he aims to bridge the gap between bench research and bedside applications, ultimately improving outcomes for patients with metabolic diseases. Through comprehensive scientific research training and collaboration in Li Lab, Xu strives to contribute meaningfully to the evolving landscape of metabolic medicine.
