Ni Yining was born in Zhejiang Province. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Food Science and Engineering from Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. In 2025, she entered the Li Laboratory at the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to pursue a master's degree.
Her research interest lies in functional foods. She is dedicated to exploring the deep connection between food components and human health. She hopes to become a functional food researcher after graduation.
In her daily life, she is quiet but has an open heart, and is good at finding a balance between solitude and communication. Her love for drama, dance, and music enriches her spiritual world. She once joined the drama club and participated in campus drama performances, experiencing different life segments under the stage lights. Amid the interweaving of research and life, she is steadily moving towards her ideal future, which is both professional and warm-hearted.
